Dr. Sara Eftekharnejad from Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University is looking for multiple motivated graduate students (with financial aid) who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with research focused on power systems and smart grids. Also, self-funded visiting students/scholars (MSc. or PhD) are welcome to apply. In exceptional cases, Master’s students might be considered for financial aid.
Dr. Eftekharnejad is currently a professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University. Her research focuses on power system stability and control, micro-grids and renewable energy integration. She also investigates how phasor measurement unit (PMU) measurements can improve real-time system operation.
