Developer Productivity and Tools is a group of teams focused on making Amazon Web Services a positive and productive developer experience. We include services like AWS Elastic Beanstalk and AWS CloudFormation, language specific SDKs, Tools, Documentation, and Management consoles that make it easy to get started with AWS, simple to use, and hard to imagine life without. Through our educational content, blogs, and conference activity we help developers be part of the larger AWS community where they can learn, share, and get inspired.
AWS Bill Presentation
Bill Presentation generates and delivers billing information to all AWS customers, including the Invoice email/PDF and several Detailed Billing Reports. The team also provides an aggregator service layer as an integration point with AWS Payments and Billing system
s. We work with large amounts of data with throughputs that challenge even Amazon scale. In the future, the team will implement Big Data approaches to processing its streams of data utilizing all the AWS technologies available. If you are passionate about processing data at Amazon/AWS scale, this is your opportunity. You will own the development process from architecture and design through delivery. Java is the primary language for building systems in this space, but leveraging other languages is encouraged if they solve problems more efficiently. You will be encouraged to dive deep and to show innovation by solving big problems with simple solutions.
AWS Accounts & Organizations
You will help define the architecture and build new large scale systems for consumers and restaurant merchants. You will partner with a talented team of engineers to build scalable, simple and relevant mobile technologies. This includes building backend services and native mobile apps for iOS, Android and FireOS devices. As part of this role, you will have the unique opportunity of having an end-to-end exposure to the business – you will interact with multiple business groups (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Management) and senior management. As an engineer, you will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing and operations.
The EC2 Windows and Enterprise Management team works on a wide range of areas to allow customers to easily manage large fleets of instances and run their mission-critical infrastructure on AWS. Windows-specific work includes Drivers, Virtualization, Performance and other lower-level platform components to make EC2 the best place to run Windows Server-based workloads. On the Enterprise Management side, we are building exciting new services and capabilities to extend the EC2 platform to make it easy for customers to manage their infrastructure through features like Run Command and Automated Launch Configuration with many more exciting features in the works! These highly scalable web services are built on modern cloud stack in Java/Linux but manages both Linux and Windows instances.
