The Computer Architecture Lab in the Electrical and Computer |
Engineering Department at Lehigh University has two Research Assistant
positions available (with financial support) for incoming Ph.D. students
in Fall, 2016. We are looking for highly motivated students who are
interested in conducting high-impact research in the broad areas of
computer architectures, VLSI, and computer systems.
About the Advisor:
Dr. Xiaochen Guo is an Assistant Professor at Lehigh University. She
received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Rochester. Her research
leverages resistive memories to build energy-efficient processors,
memory systems, and accelerators. She was awarded the IBM Ph.D.
Fellowship twice; and interned at Samsung Research America and IBM T. J.
Watson Research Center.
Lehigh University is a private research university, which is located in
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a vibrant and historic community that is a
short drive from New York City and Philadelphia. Lehigh University was
ranked 40th, and its computer engineering program was ranked 58th by
U.S. News in 2015.
Applicants should have received, or expect to receive by the time of
enrollment, a bachelor's or master's degree in EE, CS, or related area.
