) of the Universityof Arkansas at Little Rock has one postdoc position. The postdoc position isrenewable up to three years subject to satisfactory performance and fundingavailability. The successful candidates will develop RGB-D camera based SLAM methodsor 3D object detection methods for a wearable robotic object manipulation aidfor the visually impaired.
Qualification requirements: Applicants must havean earned doctorate (or ABD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,Computer Science, or a related discipline by the date of appointment. Desirableskills include programming in Matlab and C/C++ and experience in visual/graphSLAM or 3D object detection. Experience with Linux programming is a plus.Preference will be given to a highly motivated individual with experience inLinux programming and open robotic operating system.
