After reviewing your application, the Electrical and Computer Engineering MS program is offering you provisional admission to The Graduate School at Binghamton University for the Spring 2017 semester. Your offer of admission is provisional because we have not yet received immigration and financial documentation.
Please send us the following two items:
- International Student Financial Statement Form (PDF)
- Supporting financial documentation*
In order to receive an I-20 (certificate of eligibility for F-1 student visa), all international students are required by the United States Department of Homeland Security to provide proof of their ability to cover educational expenses while in the United States. Based on current costs, international students are required to certify funds in the amount of $40,700 USD ($42,900 USD for MBA students). Students who are funded by a Binghamton University academic program may subtract the total amount of stipend and tuition that they are being offered from the total required certified funds. For example, if the tuition and stipend add up to $30,000, then the total amount to certify is $40,700 - $30,000 = $10,700.
Please upload the required documents to your status page or e-mail them to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible, so that we can continue to process your application for regular admission.
