UNL1月29号给我发的信,让我先找导师再给通知,这是waiting list 的意思吗
The electrical engineering Graduate Committee met recently and considered your application. The EE Graduate Committee decided that you should first view the list of faculty members on our web site at www.ee.unl.edu
and get in touch with a faculty member that might have funding available to offer you a Research Assistantship (RA). Once you receive an RA offer from a faculty member you will then be notified that you have been admitted to the graduate program. All faculty members have been alerted of your status and have access to review your file on GAMES.
Students that are awarded a Research Assistantship receive 100% of their tuition paid and 79% of their health insurance. They also receive a monthly check for $1800 to work 20 hours a week in the research lab (August – May). Some students continue to work June and July as well. The student is responsible for their fees, books, housing, and food. All of our graduate students are on assistantships or their application is denied.
Good luck to you in securing a Research Assistantship for your graduate school endeavor. I hope that one day we shall meet. Until then all the best.
