Microsoft onsite linked-list coding question: deep-copy a doubly linked list whose nodes carry an extra pointer that can reference any node, while building your own list classes from scratch. Most of the difficulty is in making every pointer in the copy independent of the input, which is easy to get wrong under time pressure.
