本课题组 在University of South Carolina招收博士生和博士后(各1名)。课题的研究方向是生物模拟计算。
(1) 博士生职位 (化学工程或者生物医药工程): 研究方向是生物计算和实验,machine learning相结合。
提供全奖 ,年工资$30,000,学费免除。2024年的春季或者秋季入学。
基本要求:
1.数学基础好的理工科本科生或者硕士生,都可以申请。欢迎化工,生工,材料,机械,环境, 计算机,EE, 化学,物理,生物等理工专业的学生来申请;- 有生物计算 (protein-ligand binding, protein docking, atomstic / quantum simulation, and machine learning) 研究经验;
3.能熟悉C++, C, Fortran或者Python, 有一定的编程基础 ;
4. Tofel的最低分是 80, or IELTS 最低分 6.5; GRE不要求;GPA > 3.2;
(2) 博士后职位:课题方向是生物模拟计算。博士后年工资是$57k-60k, 初始工作期限两年. 入职时间是2023年底-2024年春。
Required qualifications:
1) Expertise in MD simulations (atomistic and coarse-grained), DPD simulations, QM/MM, AIMD, or/and kinetic Monte Carlo.
2) Expertise in the simulations of protein docking, protein-ligand binding, polymers, or/and interfacial redox and electron transfer.
3) Good programming skills
The expertise in quantum, QM/MM, kinetic Monte Carlo, machine learning or polymer theory would be a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
(1) experience with the MD simulation software (such as Gromacs, Lampps, NAMD, Amber or CHARMM); (2) experience in the quantum software (QChem, CP2K, Quantum Expresso or VASP); (2) programming skills in Python, C++, C or Fortran; (4) Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
The expertise in Machine learning or the development of coarse-grained forcefiled parameters would be a plus.
