Graph Learning方向招收2024 Fall Phd@Dartmouth College (Ivy League)

各位同学好：

我计划在2024 Fall招收1-2名博士生和若干interns。我的research方向是graph learning，主要感兴趣graph上的heterophily，generalization，OOD，federated learning等方面的问题。
博士招生条件：
1. Strong coding skills (Or strong theoretical background). [Empirical] You should be very familiar with Pytorch or Tensorflow. [Theory] You are comfortable of reading theoretical papers and making derivations.
2. Research/project experience in related fields: graph learning, CV, NLP or general deep learning.  
3. High motivation.
除了cs专业的学生，我也非常欢迎来自数学，统计，ECE专业的学生联系。

Intern招生条件：
1. Strong coding skills. You should be very familiar with Pytorch or Tensorflow.
2. High motivation: You are willing to spend at least 20 hrs a week for 6 months.
Past experience：我去年成功指导过大三的学生发了一作KDD research track的paper。如果你coding过关，非常渴望能有一作的顶会paper，而且愿意花时间投入的话，请联系我。作为你的第一个project，我会guide you through every step。

以下是我的基本介绍：
Yujun Yan is a new assistant professor at Dartmouth College (one of the Ivy schools). She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2022. She works on graph learning and has multiple papers published at top-tier conferences, such as NeurIPS, KDD, and WWW.  Her work has received over 850 citations. She was a session chair at KDD 2023 and ICDM 2022, two workshop panelists at KDD 2023, and a reviewer for NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR for years. She also has good connections with top AI companies. She interned at Google Research in 2019 and 2020 and at Microsoft Research in 2018 and 2021. She holds a pending patent with Google.

She wants to recruit 1-2 motivated students to join her lab. Students with related research experience/papers will be prioritized. Ph.D. students will be waived tuition and fees and will receive monthly stipends.
