Job Title: Product Test Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (or willing to relocate)

About Sensforge:
Sensforge is a dynamic and growing company specializing in smart home camera technology. We are seeking a Product Test Engineer who is detail-oriented and experienced in testing consumer electronics, particularly smart home security cameras. You will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality performance of our products before they are launched in the market, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and handling the logistics of test units.
We are open to considering H1B sponsorship following a positive performance review. Candidates must have work authorization to join at this time (OPT, Permanent Resident, or U.S. Citizen)
Key Responsibilities:- Set up test environments and perform product testing on smart home cameras to ensure functionality, performance, and quality.
- Execute test plans, document results, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.
- Manage sample units, including logistics, inventory management, and shipment to beta customers and testers.
- Assist in beta testing by providing technical support to early users and gathering feedback to improve the product.
- Coordinate with the warehouse for product stocking, tracking, and distribution of test units.
- Work closely with the product development team to ensure high-quality product releases, meeting both internal and industry standards.
- Ensure all testing protocols align with industry standards and internal requirements for reliability and performance.
- Use testing tools and methodologies to identify, document, and track issues throughout the product life cycle.
Required Skills:- Familiarity with testing tools, such as Apifox, Postman, JMeter, and ZenTao, for efficient API and interface testing.
- Knowledge of Python or Linux shell scripting, with the ability to read and make necessary modifications to scripts, as well as manage testing environments.
- Experience in testing smart home cameras or similar consumer electronics.
- Knowledge of back-end and front-end testing, app testing, and web testing.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and capability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese is a plus.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
