We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join DoorDash and develop cutting-edge NLP and Ranking models for our fast-growing retail and grocery business.


What You’ll Do:
- Build production ML solutions for a seamless search experience that covers Query Understanding, Embedding-based Retrieval, Multi-objective Ranking, Spelling, and Natural Language Search.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape the future of retail search.
- Mentor teammates and lead cross-functional initiatives.


What We’re Looking For:
- Expertise in Search, NLP, IR, RecSys (classical & deep learning).
- Expertise in Generative AI/ LLMs
- Proficiency in Python (PyTorch/ preferred).
- A driven product mindset!
