Yale stat/biostat的master确实不给奖
Biostat的话，这边有人第一年就申到别的系的TA/RA的，本系可能等第二年会比较有希望申到TA

另外，一般master只能做level 2的TA，拿的钱一学期大概是2k~3k

谢谢^_^，再问一下哈，是开学以后申请呢还是现在呢？一般去那些院系当Ta啊？谢谢啦

什么院系都有可能，甚至中文系。。一般都开学以后，毕竟你申的是master，不会像PhD一样有人早早地帮你解决funding来源

If they have extra available TA positions, you can ask the graduate advisor or graduate coordinator to leave one for you. Then, you'll be possible to keep it till your graduation. However, such oppotunity must be wished as it will fall on your head, espacially in top private universities like Yale. A representative example is UCLA. You can never expect to get a later TA position in UCLA, if UCLA didn't offer you such assistantship at the very first time... Else, there are 20-hrs TA and 10-hrs TA. Perhaps you can get the later one.

Anyway, you'll always have a chance, and fight for it!
