刚收到一个邮件，躺在垃圾箱Thank you for your interest in Stony BrookUniversity!  Our system indicates that you are not a U.S. citizen orpermanent resident.  If you choose to request a Stony Brook Universityissued FormI-20 or DS-2019 to obtain F-1 or J-1 student status,please complete the “Request for I-20/DS-2019” through accessVIS.

If you do not wish to request a Form I-20 or DS-2019, please follow the log-ininstructions below and submit the Current Immigration Status form inaccessVIS so that your citizenship can be updated accordingly.


是不是大家都收到了呀，里面要填

• Biographical/Student     Information
  
• Address     Information
  
• Dependent:     Request for a Form I-20/DS-2019 (optional)
  
• Proof of     Financial Eligibility
  

可最后一个还没做存款冻结，填不了喔。

我问了小米，不用管的。

The request for an I-20 document has no impact on the admission process. Yes, please submit your financial documents issued after March 1,2015. The reason it is that specific date is that the bank statements must be recent, within 6 months of when a student will begin their studies which is September 2015.

You may wait until you have the necessary financial documents and have heard back from University Admissions.

我也觉得奇怪呢。。。
不过信里说
Important: Access to request a Form I-20/DS-2019 in no way indicates an admission decision; you are simply allowed to start the request process. Visa and Immigration Services will not review requests for immigration documents until you are admitted and cleared by the appropriate admitting office (Undergraduate Admissions, the Graduate School, SPD, HSC, IAP).

Upon submission of the required forms AND your admission being cleared by the appropriate office (Undergraduate Admissions, the Graduate School, SPD, HSC, IAP) your request will be reviewed by an International Student Advisor.
看到这句话我也打算如果AD后再管

好奇怪啊 这是应该录取后才来的吧？

同收到了，很莫名其妙...

同收到，但是我决定先不管。。。等他家录了再说。。。

刚咨询了一下去年去SBU的同学，他说不用管，可以有AD后再鸟他，SBU就是这样，以后还会发很多遍....

有没有deadline啊？
