PhD and Postdoc positions in Computer Science at the University of Maryland College Park (UMD) are available for Spring 2027 to work with Dr. Heng Huang. Postdocs can start working at any time. The positions are open for candidates with strong background and motivation in one of the following areas:  (1) AI/ML/CV/NLP, (2) Bioinformatics/Medical Image Computing, (3) Optimization and Theory. If you have experience in Mathematical Olympiad or related contests, it will be a plus.
