CRT itself is easier to attract dirt, not your face.
You should prove that CRT will charge your face (to make your face attractive to dirt), or it will accelerate dirt to hit your face.
Do you have any sources?

btw. I had been using CRT from 1994 to 2007, from 14'' to 17''. I love my Sony Trinitron monitor, it's nice.

no source, but yrs ago i tried an experiment - hold a piece of paper in front of the monitor, it will be attracted to the monitor and stay there....now coming to think of it, the same thing worked with really really old TVs too

我是说，过去CRT有静电的时候大家就爱说，静电《-》屏幕，灰尘被静电吸过去，脸跟屏幕近，所以也占灰

然后说法流传至今----不是说我同意这个说法哈。。。。

这个有点象“传统”的试验

设计一个机关，让猴子一去拿香蕉就给大家淋冷水，然后一有猴子去拿，大家就揍一顿那个猴子。
然后老猴子一个个被替换掉了，新猴子一个个补充进来，虽然后来的猴子都没被淋过冷水，但是还是一有猴子碰香蕉，大家就去揍它
到后来机关根本就不work了，也没任何猴子被冷水淋过，但是Powerful的传统还是保持下去了

嗯..谣言也是这么产生的吧..传谣的人也都没验证过就传了.
