amazon seattle 实习找室友

暑期5.25-8.15在seattle amazon实习，现在在想找房子住。问下有没有筒子想找室友一起住的？Amazon 提供的corporate housing怎么样？

如果住酒店的话，不仅没有每月2500的补助，还得每月多交500，然后还得多交税？那之后的退税退的是什么啊？能退多少啊？  

On your behalf, Amazon has selected a preferred vendor(s) for corporate housing placement. Your furnished housing costs will be subsidized by Amazon. Your portion of the rental payments will be deducted from your last paycheck of the month. The housing deductions detailed below are stated in USD and will be converted to local currency at the time they are applied to your paycheck.
Corporate Housing: $500 USD monthly deduction. You may be placed in a studio or urban-one bedroom unit. Kitchens are available in each unit.
Hotel: $500 USD monthly deduction. You will be placed in a one-bedroom unit. Most hotels will have a kitchenette. In the unlikely event that you are placed in a hotel without the ability to cook, an alternative option will be provided.
. 1point 3acres University Housing: $300 USD monthly deduction. You will be placed in a shared living environment with other Amazon Interns. Interns will have their own bedroom but kitchen and living spaces will be shared with other interns.
Family Options: $800 USD monthly deduction. Two bedroom units are available to families. The use of this option requires confirmation of eligible dependent for travel arrangements. Please refer to the travel section of this document for the definition of eligible dependents.
Roommate Options: If you would prefer to live with a roommate, preferences will be collected by your Graebel consultant in an attempt to match you with a roommate requesting similar criteria. Each intern will receive a $300 USD per month deduction.

亚马逊有两种方案
第一个是corporative housing，一个studio每月支付400，里面是fully furnished，拎包入住
第二个就是你自己去找，给你3000刀，暑假3个月

个人建议是选第二个
原因，年底报税的时候，亚马逊会把你corporative housing的费用一起报，这样下来，一个暑假你报税有3W刀左右，也就是说你欠政府的税就多了
我12年实习的时候，他们一个暑假报了3W多，结果到年底我还要给政府补税1500刀。所以不建议选corporative housing

如果楼主不太在乎钱，想方便的话，corporative housing是个不错的选择

我是去年的corporate housing,
今年的 Amazon w2  
Wages, tips, other comp. 42173.19
Federal income tax withheld 9356.55
总的moving expense 是 17321.86
Tax assistance 是 6791.45
所以说amazon是帮你交税的。

如果不打算住amazon提供的hotel的话建议租房。。

其他option就是给你租房吧。。宾馆每周包几天餐还有人打扫卫生吧
