在stat@UIUC官网上看到对SOP的要求，感觉比较强调简洁的，求问大家，大概写多少会合适呢？不超过一页？其实问题应该是SOP应该写多短...
As part of your application materials, you are required to submit a brief Statement of Purpose. This is your opportunity to express your interest in the program clearly and succinctly. An ideal Statement of Purpose will demonstrate your command of written English and effectively communicate how your skills will contribute to the program. There is no specific topic or limit to length, but the statement should be no longer than it needs to be.

按照要求啊，至少问的问题要回答全。如下是详细的要求：
Please describe your previous academic work in your proposed field of study and include a personal statement regarding your goals for graduate study and a professional career. Please also describe any relevant research experience and what you have learned from it, and other educational and life experiences that you feel are important and relevant. If you have specific interests in your proposed field of study or are interested in working with any particular faculty members, please tell us about them.

一般来说1-2页，我是写了两页不到点
