2016/02亚麻选组求建议

已经是2月了, 大部分的坑早就不见了. 我的HR是Sami同学, 给我推荐了8个组 各位大神, 求推荐哇.

写questionaire的时候好想去echo组的, 结果发现echo在kindle里面, 给推荐了kindle的两个组. 不知道和echo的关系大不大...
1 . Consumer Website (SF)
2 . DBS Redshift, Aurora, Console (Palo Alto)
3 . IMDB(LA)
4 . 余下的都是在本部 Amazon fulfillment
5 . Game service and Studio
6 . Kindle demand planning
7 . Amazon education
8 . CS technology

根据版上的介绍, 1和4都是超级大组, 进去被分到哪都不知道.. 2的描述似乎是aws相关的, 地方也不错. 好奇的是版上有不少被imdb来的人面试的, 可是介绍imdb组内情况的却不多.

感谢! redshift的话我比较害怕走上data engineer的道路, 变成DBA而不是data scientist就不好玩了...

听别人说2这个组是仅次于ec2和s3的组，亚麻越底层的组压力越大，核心技术越多。redshift要求database背景把，反正我是不行，去微软还让sql组给虐了。应该不会走上data engineer的道路，实在不行就是写写console。如果去湾区的话base怎么算，今天忘问了。。

三个加州的组。。求问你是直接在location上面选了加州作为第一preference了么？明天要和hr电话了，可以直接找他要组么？

我就没发帖，就看着介绍选了kindle demand planning这个。。

我就是觉得这个组做的东西比较有趣吧，而且做Demand Planning的应该不会很多oncall吧。
我看了好多帖子感觉大神们都说在哪个组不重要，manager怎么样才最重要。。。。所以看人品吧到时候。。。
