Dr. Gong in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oklahoma State University is currently looking for excellent PhD students with strong interests in security and privacy, big data, mobile computing, and Internet of Things, starting in Fall 2016 or Spring 2017. Candidates should have a good GPA and/or extensive research experience in relevant discipline. Successful candidates will get full financial support with high stipends. An ideal candidate is expected to have
Strong mathematical backgrounds in modeling and statistical analysis
Good programming skills and strong hands-on experience
Ambition to solve challenging problems and do good research.
Past research experience is a big plus. Previous experience with FPGA programming is also a plus.
Good communication and writing skills.
Both undergraduates and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
