【4月1日update】UMich EE:System已经review完毕，附power招人情况

system这么多申请者的情况下，phd 被降成ms的可能性大吗？

Umich的power已经连续两年都不在大陆招了。zach真是好运气那~

没有啊。11Fall的Power Electronics的PhD就是大陆的啊。更别说每年都有好多大陆ms

到目前为止毕业的ms也就几个……样本太小啊。我们恢复power没几年第一届phd还没毕业呢。。。

review是绝对已经review完了，所以如果你们着急知道结果，申phd的可以直接去问陶瓷的教授。。。。

问问Zach大神，我也申请的是2012 Fall EE :S@Umich, 目前收到的信上说：
We have carefully reviewed your application to the PhD program in
Electrical Engineering:Systems at the University of Michigan. We are very impressed by your qualifications and achievements. Admission to the PhD program is very competitive and limited by the number of available openings with funding within each area of our program. Regretfully, we are unable to offer you admission to the PhD program. As an alternative, we would like to offer you admission to the Master's program in Electrical Engineering:Systems, should you be interested in this possibility. Our MS program offers a dynamic environment for graduate education with challenging opportunities, world-renowned faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities. Unfortunately, we do not offer financial aid to students enrolled in the MS program.

Please note that it is possible to seek admission to the PhD program once you are a Master's student here. This is not guaranteed however, and typically only a small number of students are admitted to the PhD each year in this manner. Further details about the transition from MS to PhD are given at:
