We are aware that some of you have experienced the inability to register or waitlist in EECS graduate courses administrated by the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) Division of EECS, as they were restricted to CSE graduate students only.  This came as a surprise to me as well, and we have been working over the past few weeks with CSE and the College of Engineering to remove this restriction.

I am now happy to report that the restriction of CSE administered classes to CSE graduate students is being removed, and that ECE graduate students will be able to register or waitlist for all EECS classes.  Of course, it is true that the demand for some classes may exceed the available seats, and in this case, there will be waitlists.  Furthermore, an override system may be used to give priority to students with the greatest needs, as well as to allow students to be considered for multiple discussion or lab sections of a class (if any), whereas the usual waitlists allow students to waitlist only for one section.

学长好orz主要是之前感觉认识的去ini rice的都是电信学长，转cs的光电学长们还是读的EE

录取门槛会高一些吧！据说DICE这个track几乎不要大陆的，SES这个track我看今年的帖子录取的人背景都还蛮厉害的
