应该今天advanced网上查不到的话就是凉了

我不懂先寄adv是什么原理，按理说抽签不是电脑随机，一下子就完成了么？除非第一批抽出来的两万个一抽出来就马上开始拆包裹寄收据。但按照现今的电脑计算速度，几万个随机数应该只要几秒钟就生成了啊。。。唯一的可能性是，寄包裹是按照生成的随机数顺序寄出来的，然后先抽出的两万多就是先寄出来了。

Why are we seeing receipts for AD petitions first? Is USCIS sending receipt notices for the Advanced Degree lottery first and then the Regular lottery?
The lottery is done. The receipts are sent separately. USCIS tries to send out AD petition receipts first as these applicants are more likely to need the receipt notice ASAP for cap-gap purposes. This is not an indicator of whether the AD petition got selected under the AD cap or the regular cap – again, there is no way to determine which cap an AD petition gets selected.

现在还是有ADV的希望的 因为reg和adv一起抽的呀。。所以这次regular和adv会一起出。

楼主可能是无心，但是这个特殊时期很多朋友的内心都很敏感的，发一个无理无据但是加了“应该”的帖子，也会让很多人着急的。

今天又有adv查到sevis更新，所以楼主假设不成立。

希望楼主和和大家都抽中。。。也没有必要这么纠结楼主吧。。。都是想把自己知道的分享给大家而已

现在看起来这个预测基本上是对的，排除掉极少数的 reg 之外。现在adv 的中签率基本用完了：
5/1/18 UPDATE: Sorry for the late update! It took some time for our office to complete the data entry so that I could calculate the statistics. Receipts came in from both Vermont and California yesterday for only AD. No additional receipts came in today, but more are still on the way!

We have received I-797 receipt notices in 42% of our cases filed as AD/VT (Advanced Degree-masters / Vermont Service Center)
We have received I-797 receipt notices  in 45% of our cases filed as AD/CA (Advanced Degree-masters / California Service Center)
We have received I-797 receipt notices in 0% of our cases filed as non-AD/VT (Regular-bachelors / Vermont Service Center)
We have received I-797 receipt notices  in 0% of our cases filed as non-AD/CA (Regular-bachelors / California Service Center)

今年的Adv中签率估计不是51%吗？而且今天H1B组里也有adv的cash out但sevp未更新的例子。

我觉得至少要等到周四或周五才能见分晓。
