JOB DESCRIPTIONDo you like Alexa? Do you have a passion for cars? Do you love bleeding edge technology? Alexa Automotive is looking for exceptional software development engineers to work on enabling Alexa – the voice controlled personal assistant behind Amazon Echo – in automobiles. The team seeks to provide seamless experiences for customers with Alexa in the car.

As a member of the team, you will be working with business partners, other senior software development engineers and testers UI/UX designers to design, implement, test, launch, document, and maintain complex software applications, tools, and systems. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define these product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product. You will learn a variety of cutting-edge technologies, development processes, and develop well-rounded skills such as leadership, and effective project management. You will also mentor junior software development engineers.

It is day 1. Join us to become the founding member of a new initiative that involves Alexa, automotive, and Internet of Things. Not only do we deliver high-impact customer facing applications, we also focus on learning, sharing, innovating and having fun at work. Here is a list of things we do differently:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ years in programming language ie: C++, Java
• 2+ years of industry experience as a software development engineer
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Passionate about learning new technologies
• 1+ years of experience in Qt
• 2+ years of C++ and/or Android development experience
• 1+ years AGL or GENIVI development experience
• Eager to learn and learn fast, enjoy a fast paced environment
• Self-directed and a team player
• Driven to provide the best customer experience via technology
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills

你好，我在c++(11/14)有1.5年industry的经验，之前在college有过QT/Android相关的开发经验，对这种底层platform的开发也有较大的兴趣，希望能帮忙refer，谢谢，邮箱wx***@nyu.edu
