SO是啥？

SO是specialty occupation
Specialty occupation means an occupation which requires theoretical and practical application of a body of highly specialized knowledge in fields of human endeavor including, but not limited to, architecture, engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, social sciences, medicine and health, education, business specialties, accounting, law, theology, and the arts, and which requires the attainment of a bachelor’s degree or higher in a specific specialty, or its equivalent, as a minimum for entry into the occupation in the United States.

我是想refile拿receipt上班了。新公司有中国办公司，旧公司没有。extend如果失败了是要立刻离境吗？不过怎么做都会有风险

extend失败的话好像要立刻离境，但我看有人说有grace period不知道是怎么回事，还要查一下。拿receipt上班还是有风险，我看blind上面有人一直做的SE从微软转到脸书H1B transfer都被拒了。。。纯属找茬
刚查了下extend政策，貌似今年3月也变严格了，现在举证的义务完全落在了申请人身上，严格程度上感觉和新申请H1B没有什么区别了。那我这不是又要跪的节奏。。。
Under the previous policy, if a person was once found to be eligible for a work visa initially, they would usually be considered for extension of their visa.
. Now during every extension, they need to prove to the federal authorities that they are still eligible for the visa they apply for.

暂时还不知道，要等律师收到纸质denial材料看过之后才决定

律师昨天刚收到移民局的邮件，reject的理由是意料之中的SO，wayfair暂时还没回复

update: 昨天公司Wayfair答复说不会refile，因为在当前政策下被reject的风险还是太大，不过提供relocate到香港或者柏林的机会。目前没有离开美国的打算，就当没这回事了 ε=(′ο｀*)))唉
