Senior(or above) Software Engineer- R&D Security Team

As a member of the R&D Security team, you will get a chance to work in an environment that’s big on innovation, not on paperwork.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with a strong track record of building high-quality web applications using good software engineering practices in an agile environment.

You will be responsible for designing and building enterprise-scale security features that our customers will use directly. You will also need to be able to think like an attacker, engineering framework level solutions that scale and perform in our multi-tenant environment. Some of the cutting edge techniques we are working on include actively detecting vulnerabilities, securing web service callouts made by customer code running on our platform, and virtually patching live security holes immediately. Successful candidates will possess a healthy dose of initiative and will be flexible in adapting to the changing threats arising in the enterprise cloud arena.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming
• Understanding of and experience in protecting web applications against common web exploits such as XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, etc.
• Commitment to good Software Engineering: Test Driven Development, Documentation, Code reviews, etc.
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the OWASP Top Ten
• 2+ years of Application security related experience
• Expertise in cross origin request management and related domain policy controls
• Working knowledge of TLS, certificate management, cryptography and key management
• Enthusiasm for mentoring less-experienced developers
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile development
• Highly productive and self-motivated
• Strong knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational database schema design
