ECE CS PHD，现在一个结果没有，是时候找RA准备gap了吗？

老哥，GT UIUC UW我觉得和Umich都是一个level甚至有的更高的为啥没从呢，Umich这几天应该陆陆续 ...

I don't know haha. Still Waiting....
I have already contacted with two professors.
One said he prefers domestic student this year. But he will ask the department if there are more slots for him or not. (The result will come out around the end of Feb)
The other professor usually starts around the end of Feb. (I asked his Ph.D. student)

那倒是，等都拿到了再决定也好，感觉老哥除了四大，top10基本扫荡一圈了。。。

不要慌 申请季0面试的我也过来了orz 有面试就是一种肯定了 会上岸的

我也想gap了，在想联系国内的RA还是国外的RA好

发邮件问了UMich的小秘，说是系里plan to make all the decisions before Mar 1st, 但是并不绝对：

I understand you are excited to know the admission results of your application. The admission committee has started the application review process.  However, I cannot tell you when or if your application has been reviewed.  If you have not been contacted with an admission offer, there has not been a final decision made on your application yet.  Once a final decision has been made, you will be contacted by email.
This year we have over 2,000 applications, and the admission committee is reviewing them as fast as possible.  The admission committee plans to have all decisions made by May 1st.    However, I cannot guarantee that all decision will be made by that date.  I ask for your patience as the admission committee finishes reviewing the applications.  If you have additional admission offers from other institutions, do not let our process keep you from making a decision.
