紧急求教康奈尔Meng的问题！！！求教啊！！

EE的，找的中介，之前说cornell的MS很难申，所以cornell今年ECE申的M.eng,给录取了，但是后来查了后发现Meng一般是工作用的，所以我想上MS，以后肯定会读ph.D的，想请教下大家，去后有没有可能转成MS？去学校后再转也行，有没有在康奈尔上学的前辈帮忙打听下？求大家帮忙啊！！

If your goal is ultimately a research-based degree program, as opposed to going directly into industry, the MEng Program may not be the right fit for you.

又答来不耐烦了：As I’d already said, if you would want to be considered for either our MS or PhD program, you would be required to go through the formal application process a second time. This would entail submitting a brand new application, paying the application fee & submitting all up to date relevant materials, including valid GRE & TOEFL (if applicable) scores.

You can’t just “transfer” to another program because you were admitted into a program that doesn’t interest you as much.

You should really think this through, because if your intent is come to Cornell in order to get into either the MS or PhD Program using the MEng Degree as a springboard to do so, it will not happen.

我发邮件问了小秘，他很强硬的跟我说不可以，唉算了不考了康奈尔了，就是废了一个申请....谢谢啦

貌似不行，这个就是赚钱的感觉。。。。。。MS是不是要找到老师啊？

我打听到的只是康奈尔MS和MENG都要找导师做东西，但是我很想知道去学校后可不可以转

读PhD还是不要考虑Cornell的MEng了，这个确实是以就业为导向的。
不过话说大部分的MS读完后想读phd也是看个人水平

可以转，如果导师有钱+愿意收你的话，毕业后可以直接读phd，不是没可能，但难度很高，lz需要在Meng期间跟到一个有钱&有招生意愿的老板+非常卖命地工作+刷好GPA，bless u & everybody~
