Job Description

Responsibilities include:
- Identifying, designing, and conducting risk statistical and analyses projects in support of new recovery initiatives, framework and forecasting. Understanding relationships between customer behaviors, policy levers and overall portfolio risk performance. Preparing and delivering presentations related to recommendations and strategies to business partners and management.
- Designing, developing and interpreting business and statistical analyses to support management decision-making as it applies to recovery strategy.
- Evaluating new consumer risk related data sources and risk analytical tools, and develops innovative collection/recovery capabilities and processes.
- Maintaining a high level of competency in statistical and analytical principles, tools and techniques.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring portfolio performance. Identifying opportunities to modify strategies and processes to improve efficiency tradeoffs

- Performing quality control and validation procedures on all aspects of analysis and reporting.
- Working with other team members on projects, assuming leadership roles on cross-functional teams when required to meet project objectives..

Skills Required
▪ Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, etc.) Master’s Degree preferred.
▪ 2+ years’ analytical experience, financial service industry experience preferred.
▪ SAS and SQL programming skills, preferably in both UNIX and PC environments. Proficient in using Microsoft Office..1point3acres
▪ Strong analytical background, knowledge of statistical modeling and forecasting, preferably with consumer-credit loans.
▪ Demonstrated ability in application of commonly used statistical techniques (i.e. regression, decision trees, clustering, etc.).
▪ Ability to deliver results in a deadline driven environment.
▪ Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
▪ Ability to work under own initiative with ability to set priorities and deliver quality results.
▪ Ability to demonstrate high level of inquisitiveness, initiative and critical thinking, in formulating the above mentioned business issues into analytical problems and devising actionable solutions.
