They can still be a good choice for the resale value. Not many people buy a new car and use it until to the junk yard. That's a very cost effective way though.
So resale value does matter.

我是想找一辆新车，然后四门，两三年之内卖掉贬值最少（我知道新车贬值多）。然后因为我之前的车是一辆吉普，修得神伤，所以就想开开日本车，觉得civic外形很酷，野马我以前也有过了，所以暂时不考虑，所以就想问问大佬什么合适。因为22k左右的钱并买不了什么好车。。然后corolla的驾驶体验真的是一言难尽，civic好太多，我觉得camry开起来才跟civic差不多，谢谢大佬

而且老实讲，福特的车都开过不少，tarus，fusion，focus，escape，explorer，给我的感觉都是工业设计不合我意，里面的仪表盘啥的实在不喜欢，vw国内家里开的就是这个。。suv就不需要的，但是大佬，真的有比civic还便宜的vw吗？ 我都是两三年内卖掉，所以其实如果最后贬值不太多还是可以勉强的。

People like Civic for it's Japanese made reliability and relatively sporty at low price. Corolla is nowhere sporty. VW has poor reputation for reliability.

Mustang is a good car but it's a muscle car.over-emphasizing horsepower. And the lowest trims don't have that horsepower either.

是的10年也能开的神车 我之前就开几年前的civic 开着感觉挺喜欢的 所以打算接着finance一辆新款思域 不过看了眼确实这个价格再加点可以买其他好车了 SUV大了点不太喜欢

去年改款civic确实是惊艳。如果不是我当时已经确定要买插电的话我第二选择就是civic了。这届civic和accord差不多宽，不会因为是compact感觉小。强烈建议去看看hatchback，更加运动。

sport的中置排气口是真的酷啊，花最少的钱装最多的x啊。。。其实我只是想知道22k的价格行不行，21k不知道能不能拿到

借楼同讨论，想整一辆车通勤，基本就是只用来通勤，所以预算也是想在2W出头搞定，而且我是想lease一辆车。目前在看的有civic sedan，civic hatchback，mazda3，mazda3 hatchback, 本来还有看Prius Prime毕竟省油还能上HOV，结果lease太贵了。。（试驾的时候感觉还是不错的，除了高速的时候有点费劲）

试驾civic的时候是sedan EX vs hatchback sport touring（没办法他们hatchback 货源少），也许是trim差别太，后者驾驶体验好得多，主要是坐上去的感觉非常自如位置刚刚好开起来很舒服。虽然前者EX也是电动调节座椅，但是不知道为啥就是不太舒服。。 (不是真皮座椅的原因)
mazda3没去试驾，目前有一辆CX-5，体验不错，外观也比较满意，但是mazda就是比较耗油一些。因为已经有一辆，应该可以有loyalty discount
如果civic价格这么硬，快和 accord差不多了确实不如直接上后者啊。。。

不知道各位还有没有什么推荐的通勤车？

如果楼主感兴趣可以搜一下 leasehackr，虽然主要是lease的，但是deal也是有参考价值的。

agreed. But for Ford or VW, you might get big discount (like 5k off MSRP). Because the market is small and you bought it with a great discount, you might have a good resale value. e.g. you bought a car of 23k MSRP for 19k but when you are selling it, it looks like you purchased at 20K or more.

It's like you get a new lamp ($20 originally) with great discount for $10, and you can still sell the used lamp at $10.

"VW has poor reputation for reliability" => true, but they offer 6 year 72,000 mile warranty, which sounds super valid
