ISU最新进展, 3.19凌晨神展开

这个磨蹭的学校在3月1日终于开放了status查询系统，相信很多筒子都查了，啥都没查出来……
于是我不死心地在前天又问了一次，以为他们还会告诉我“我们现在录取XX%的人，你还得等哦”
结果收到这个。

Thank you for your inquiry regarding your applicationstatus.

We confirm that your application materials have been processed by the Office ofAdmissions and forwarded to the graduate program to which you applied for theirreview. This process may take a few weeks or several months, depending on theinternal review process of the program.

Most admissions decisions are made in March, with the majority of notificationletters following in April. Admissions are not processed after June 1 for Fall,November 1 for Spring, and April 1 for Summer. We regret that the Office ofAdmissions is not able to notify applicants of the decision on their applicationby e-mail.

嗯，我大概2月初收到系主任的邮件说开始审理了，谢谢您，一个半月过去了，给我点声儿吧……

邮件的意思就是，研院大部分决定在3月作出，letter要4月才寄出（难道又是平信？），fall的录取结果在6月1日前都会出来。。。。

给跪。大家继续等吧。

昨日丧心病狂不睡觉，在电脑前和美帝各学校互通邮件到凌晨三点半。收到ISU系主任回复一封。。
这是我第一次见到=v=把学生往其他学校推的做法。。。莫非是我太菜，他们恨不得早点丢掉我这个垃圾？

在这个系看到一个super match教授，研读其大paper若干，水套学术套扔了无数，0回复。
所以注定要杯具了么=v=

Admissions to our program are driven strongly by faculty interest and capacity to accept new students.  The program will not vote on an admission until a faculty advisor has stepped forward and nominated a candidate.  At the present, I have not received any nominations for you, but I should stress that EnSci actively considers placing new students through April.

If you are considering concrete offers from other institutions, I would urge you to give them your full attention without waiting for a response from EnSci.  I would not want you to miss an opportunity elsewhere while the final outcome here remains uncertain.
