今年真的是找工寒冬吗？

我觉得从2017年起就年年寒冬，一年不如一年。大厂僧多粥少，小厂地域性强且很多不搞h1b。放平心态吧

就业靠亚麻，如果亚麻不招人的话，就是寒冬

Fresh PhD，9/28号开始投简历，到现在2个月多一点，有5个技术面试，2个Oniste，十几个各种电话面试，感觉机会还是挺多的，但是自己水平太次

可以请W大每季度发一个全站匿名统计XD 或者直接算total admitted in Fall 2019 / total offers 但这个数据variance太多了 统计不到已经在校的 统计不到没发面筋 / 没分享包裹的 会多统计一些自行转码上岸的 hhh 可以请地里data science team来研究一下这个问题 ~~ 之前W大做过申请数据嘛 后续做求职数据应该也可以

I'd like to contribute another perspective:
Quality staffing and consultant companies(not some H1B abusers, but decent ones) are on the rise.

Let's be honest, the types of work you would assign to a new grad can be handled much better than experienced contractors. Not to mention, there has been a "jumping ship culture" developed among young new grad working for tech companies. It becomes more and more expensive to maintain full time new employees.

To be fair, you can't run a tech company with nothing but contractors. But with more and more core features being stable and established, I can see why the hiring spree slowing down.

Let's buckle up~~~I think it's gonna be bad.......Uber and WeWork are the first ones to go....we can only prepare to be the best of ourselves and hope for the best.
