NYU PAC项目有多大用处？

最近在研究择校问题，我算是文科转专业吧。。本来还挺开心NYU有PAC这样的项目。结果定睛一看，官网说读完以后还要重新申请MSCS，还不一定能录上。那岂不是即使我有幸申上了PAC，可能还得一边学课程一边准备申请，如果申不上还得回国？一年学费也要1.3w刀左，加上生活费一年也得20w软妹币，结果我读完了可能还得被遣返。如果这样我是不是直接放弃好了。。故此想请教有知情的前辈们，学完PAC之后进入Courant的MSCS项目的概率到底有多高呢。。。万分感谢！
If accepted and the student wishes to take more than 12 credits of coursework, the student would need to apply to a degree program and be accepted. Please note that acceptance as a non-degree student does not guarantee acceptance into a degree program.

Nyu Tandon有个cs bridge，一学期的网课学费很便宜，地里的介绍貌似是拿B+就保录tandon的mscs，转专业想去nyu的话可以考虑那个。
