然后我看mark on 8th，有个2020年1月评论，说 However the apartment vibrates rather hard at night, you will absolutely feel it in your bed. Particularly on the upper floors. It's very prevalent in the winter months and pushes into an unbearable rumble. The building is wood framed and transmits vibrations from rooftop HVAC really well, particularly if you're in one of the end units. Other things to note is the garbage trucks will be slamming dumpsters really hard around 5 to 6am so be ready for that.
去年住了大半年mark on 8th。当初选择mark on 8th是因为旁边就是俩教堂和公园，觉得比较安静…而现在有一个教堂已经变成工地了。如果你房子面向8th ave可能会有点吵。
然后朝北/朝南都有大厂的shuttle stop。如果面向back alley，早上垃圾车真的很annoying。
而且8th ave小路对面就是一个专门给低收入人群的公寓…虽然楼下就是mma但是晚上总能看到黑哥哥。8th abd republican虽然对面还是slu的历史遗迹（废弃的仓库房跟停车场）但是说不定哪天就变成另一块建筑工地了…
补充内容 (2020-2-6 04:15):
Mark on 8th就房屋隔音效果还是不错的。slu这片的公寓房屋隔音都挺好。
back alley就是凹进去的背面。
垃圾车来的时间不定。有的时候早上五六点，有的时候九点十点也有可能。
还有就是mark on 8th back alley那面有一个狗狗的daycare的正门。晚上daycare门口也会开着4个LED大灯，整个mark on 8th后墙都被照的跟白天一样亮。。。。
