Pfizer辉瑞CEO确认新冠疫苗后期试验将于10月出结果

美国目前支持了三支处于后期测试的新冠疫苗，Pfizer辉瑞的潜在疫苗就是其中一支。这家美国制药巨头一直与德国制药商BioNTech合作。7月，该公司公布了其早期阶段试验可喜的数据。美国政府在7月也宣布将向辉瑞和BioNTech支付19.5亿美元，如果该疫苗是安全且有效的，公司将会生产和交付1亿剂疫苗。

该公司表示，疫苗后期试验预计将在全球120个地点进行，包括美国39个州，将有多达3万名18至85岁的参与者。如果成功，他们预计最早将于10月提交最终监管审查，并计划在2020年底前供应多达1亿剂疫苗，在2021年底前供应约13亿剂疫苗。

Pfizer辉瑞CEO Albert Bourla也表示，辉瑞公司的新冠疫苗后期试验最早可能在10月份就会有结果。而三期试验是唯一能说明疫苗是否有效和安全的研究，在没有第三阶段研究结果、不能确保疫苗是否有效和安全之前，公司绝不会提交任何疫苗的授权。

The U.S. currently supports three coronavirus vaccines that are in advanced testing, and Pfizer's potential vaccine is one of them. The American pharmaceutical giant has been cooperating with the German drugmaker BioNTech. In July, the company announced promising data from its early-stage trials. The US government also announced in July that it would pay Pfizer and BioNTech $1.95 billion. If the vaccine is safe and effective, the company will produce and deliver 100 million doses of the vaccine.

The company said that late-stage vaccine trials are expected to be conducted in 120 locations around the world, including 39 states in the U.S., with as many as 30,000 participants aged 18 to 85 years. If successful, they expect to submit a final regulatory review as early as October, and plan to supply as many as 100 million doses of vaccine by the end of 2020 and about 1.3 billion doses of vaccine by the end of 2021.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla also said that Pfizer's late-stage trial of the coronavirus vaccine may have results as early as October. The Phase III trial is the only study that can clarify whether the vaccine is effective and safe. The company will never submit any vaccine authorization until there are no results from the Phase III study and it is impossible to ensure that the vaccine is effective and safe.  source

就是这个大傻叉把疫情一开始就政治化，淡化疫情。把美国搞成现在这个样子，他真的可以下地狱去了。
