Sr. Site Reliability Engineer(Tech Ops) -  Live Production

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with developer(CN), operations(LA&CN), infrastructure(NA), and publishing teams to deliver the latest game content and best game experience to players all over the world
• Responsible for deployment, change, issues triage and infra management.
• Monitoring and dash-boarding for game observability, and ensure the game is reliable, scalable and secure
• Strong advocate for DevOps practices with experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure the game is effectively supported and monitored and that manual work is minimize
• Driving initiatives to automate processes and reduce toil,
• Building and operating cloud infrastructure environments and platforms
• Technical coaching and mentoring of less experienced engineers in the lab
  

Skills Essential:

• 3+ years’ experience in Linux and ideally recent experience in container orchestration (Docker,Mesos, etc) and a scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash)
• 3+ years’ experience of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure) and ideally Tencent cloud
• Strong experience of Site Reliability Engineering practices and principles
• Experience with containers and orchestration frameworks (Docker, Mesos)
• Experience with source code management and version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
• Experience with modern CI/CD tools and techniques
• Previous involvement in all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
• Passion for mentoring and technical coaching of engineers
• Collaborative skills - being open to pair programming and working closely with engineers in cross functional teams
