Quantitative Researcher

Job Responsibilities:

Support and improve existing trading strategies.

Assist senior quantitative researchers to carry out quantitative strategy design, research and development in global futures, stock, options and crypto currency markets.

Statistically analyze large-scale tick-by-tick financial data to extract alpha patterns.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have graduated with advanced degrees from top universities, majored in science and engineering, preferably Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, EE, and Physics. Had formal trainings of independent academic research.

Programming skills: proficient in at least one of following programming languages - C/C++, Python/R.

Mathematical basics: a good understanding in data science, being critical in learning knowledge, understanding either one of statistical modeling, machine learning, econometrics or optimization.

Being fast, critical and reasonable in thinking.

Quantitative Researcher (Equities, Senior)

Job Responsibilities:

Apply rigorous statistical analysis to vast quantity of market and financial data to produce predictive trading models and strategies.

Perform full research and development cycles of global equity quantitative trading, including idea generations, data cleaning, strategy backtesting, portfolio optimization, risk management and production monitoring.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of working experience in systematic alpha research/equity trading.

Have a good track record of innovative thinking and problem solving.

Trading Support Specialist (Jersey City or Work Remotely)

Job Responsibilities:

Support equities/futures trading desk sin Asian and European market hours.

Monitor trading PnL, risk exposures and capital usage.

Monitor trading systems and work with software engineers to resolve technical issues.

Reconcile positions and trades with brokers, and research and resolve breaks.

Follow financial market news and work with portfolio managers to adjust trading configurations.

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of financial markets and trading.

Ability to use command line tools in the Linux environment.

Ability to implement small scale projects using Bash or Python scripting language.

Work experience within the financial industry is a plus.

Finance (Fund Accounting)

Job Responsibilities:

Daily P&L, cash, corporate action, and position reconciliations with Prime Broker and Fund Administrator including overseeing commission accruals and payments.

Account payable, perform month-end closings procedures consisting of financial statement preparation, cash and position reconciliations, recording income/expense accruals, and preparing capital allocation schedules.

Assist with external audits including preparation of financial statements.

Assist in the creation and design of automated reports requested by management.

Test and utilize automated tools for reconciliation and profit reports. Automated tools can include utilizing Unix commands, SQL queries, and running scripts in Python.

Work with relational databases and set up reports using simple SQL queries.

Qualifications:  

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related majors.

2 - 5 years of experience.
