因为家庭和身份原因必须撕Offer，心理压力很大，求求大家看看我的邮件是否得体

利益相关：前HR（兼职，3年），给过给offer的公司拒信，依然保持了良好关系。邮件可以发，没问题的。只要没签任何卖身契。
发完了email可以打一个电话，好好说，没问题。
千万不要哭哭唧唧提爸妈不让你走，你还和爸妈吵架。这个是大red flag，你撕offer没问题，但是被experience成为巨婴，会被全线拉黑的。作为前HR，你越早给我们决定，越是光明磊落，我们越是感激。想刷好感条可以写点光明积极的，比如你积极照顾你grandparents。不管你在家里怎么和你爹妈吵上天，情绪都不要带到职场中来。

Hi XXX, Dear Ms/Mr. LastName,

I am sorry for the late response. Apologies for the late response.
Unfortunately, I have to make this tough decision that I am not able to move forward with this offer because I am not able to relocate to *** joining *** Team in my current situation.Thank you so much for the offer for the XXX position. I appreciate you taking the time to consider me and for answering so many of my questions about the company and role.


My parents want me to stay in *** and take care of my grandparent at this special time. Since I am the only one with them currently. After having a long time argument with my parents, I’ve decided to respect my parent's decision, stay with my grandparents and stay at my current company for the near future.

Due to family reasons, after careful consideration, I have decided that I will not move forward with this position. I have decided to stay local to take care of my elderly grandparents. As their primary care taker, they are heavily dependent on me. After thorough research, we found out that it was unrealistic for them to relocate with me to XXX (where the offer is located).

I am very sad to give up this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I am so sorry for any inconvenience my decision may cause.
It’s been a pleasure getting to know you and the company, and I hope that we cross paths in the future.

啊啊啊不是As their primary caretaker, 而应该是I am their primary care taker and they are heavily dependent on me...As的话后面的主语是them，是不对的，纠正quq

尊敬的大神， 可不可以再请教一下， 为什么不要留下字面证据呢？ 会有什么不好的后果吗？ 我和HR联系了约时间打电话，但是她一直不喜欢发邮件的人突然说不在办公室，发邮件吧，可能是我最近的一些反应也让她猜

其实也没什么，跟hr学的，发offer邮件里偏不写明，就写个update，电话里才告诉

谢谢大神的指导～～ 我给HR打电话了， 就实话实说了， 通过和family的沟通， 我需要stay locally照顾老人，特别是现在这个特殊时期，family first hr也没说什么，说希望以后有机会再申请，然后让我发邮件给Hiring manager重新解释一下
