德州的可以考虑一下。有种说法叫德州东西又大又便宜~

纽约州要说便宜，石溪挺便宜的，学费一年2万不到，住宿一个月500左右，city里都要1000+。就是进城稍微麻烦点，坐火车两个小时，比起buffalo和雪城什么的，已经很方便了。。。康奈尔位置也还好，就是学费高，看读什么项目，九个月的那种50W应该够

可以考虑德州啊，比较便宜

纽约的话基本上不够的吧，楼主多着眼于别的地区吧。EE的话就业还是可以的，一切看楼主自己努力，研究研究学校，申申奖学金，或者找机会做RA grader之类的。
留学中介没必要找，浪费钱。打工的事儿也暂时不要考虑。
