DE Shaw

2. Onsite interviews
One round behavioral/research/math questions, one round research/behavioral/coding/data science open questions.
I only got two rounds and didn't do quite well (only solve the problems very slowly with their hints; made many small mistakes) in the early morning. Received reject the next week.
Summary:
I am lucky to go through all these interviews. Overall I feel thinking process and good communication are more important than solving the problem singly by yourself. So being confident and speak out your ideas is crucial.
