Dr. Zhiling Lan's group at Department of Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology has two Research Assistantships for Ph.D students in the area of parallel and distributed systems. Students with strong backgrounds in  computer science, optimization, and mathematics are encouraged to apply.
