要真正做研究 还是多参考一下csrankings.org吧

而比csrankings.org更重要的是选对导师 别一个张益唐跟了个莫宗坚 排名再高 有什么用?

另外 PhD招生从来是双向选择 您要觉得GMU配不上您 我们也不会用八抬大轿来请您 是吧. GMU CS这么多优秀的老师、学生也是自愿加入这个学校的. 说实话 你要不是985或者好的211毕业 我们连offer也不会发啊. 所以请您稍安勿躁

最后 GMU在DC附近 有趣的生活 比较高的RA/TA 很棒的气候 安全 文化多元 这些因素 很多申请者 一开始觉得不重要 但真的在美国呆几年 会发现真的非常重要. 这些也是我为什么放弃西海岸top50学校 加入GMU的主要原因

According to the link you provided, GMU's overall ranking is actually #478 (instead of 1000+), and its computer science ranking is #379 (instead of 400+). I'm unsure what led to your mistakes, but I appreciate if you could correct your post.

While GMU may not be considered a top school based solely on its rankings, it's important to note that many universities who advertise on this website are similarly positioned.

While in this website, the other univeristies(GT，University of Maryland，University of Waterloo，USC，UCLA， NUS...) are obviously higher ranked than GMU. Yes there might be several ohter ones similarly positioned, but it's not "many univerisites". I really appreciate you if you can correct your obvious mistakes in your post.
