Fortinet is looking for a Software Development Engineer to work on our next generation industry leading network security appliances. You will work with both software engineers and ASIC engineers. In this role, you will have the opportunities to both obtain high level view of sophisticated network security systems and code productfeatures line by line.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in hardware and system algorithm/architecture design, modeling, simulation, and performance evaluation.
- Evaluate module-level and system-level performance through simulation.
- Develop, document, test, and debug network security related software and corresponding tools.
- Conduct research on computer network related algorithms, and propose improvements. Collect, analyze and report on experimental results.
Job Requirements:
- Strong with C/C++ and Python programming.
- Solid understanding of computer architecture, network protocols, and related algorithms.
- Passion and willingness to learn and explore new technologies and new methodologies. .
