香港科技大学（广州）长期招聘博士生和研究助理

      香港科大智慧可再生能源与可持续技术课题组，现招聘多维跨尺度建模与低碳社区方向博士生/研究助理若干名，主要研究方向为材料-部件-建筑-区域跨尺度建模与优化，涉及相变材料和多孔气凝胶材料在建筑围护结构中的热仿真及能耗响应、建筑多能源系统耦合与模拟、区域能源系统零碳规划等。组内有来自北京大学、西安交通大学、华中科技大学，和中山大学等学校的师兄师姐，学习气氛浓厚，涉及多元跨学科研究方向。
 
职位及资助：
（1）全额奖学金博士生     资助：1.5万RMB /月
（2）研究助理             具有竞争力的薪酬
（3）在职博士生（4年）    自付学费（每年15万RMB）     
 
职位地点：香港科技大学（广州），可持续能源与环境，功能中心，广州校园
 
研究领域： 建筑节能、绿色建筑、可再生能源、热电储能等。
 
海外学位：香港科技大学清水湾校园与广州校园，学生获得的学位证书与清水湾校园一样，期间至少有180天到境外交流时间，教育部境外留学学历学位认证
 
开始日期：博士入学时间为2024年2月或者2024年9月。研究助理可随时入职。
 
要求：
（1） 拥有建筑环境与能源应用、暖通空调、能源与动力工程的硕士学位，或同等学历。
（2） 熟悉掌握建筑能耗模拟软件（如TRNSYS，CFD, COMSOL, MATLAB, Python）、建模和系统优化。拥有热力学，传热传质等学科的优异学习成绩。
（3）论文发表和出版经历。
（4）对科学充满热情、吃苦耐劳、工作努力、责任心强、勤奋努力并有团队合作精神。
（5）英语要求：未获得英语教学语言学位的申请人，必须在雅思（IELTS）中取得至少6.5分（各项不低于5.5）的总分；托福（paper-based）550分以上，或80分(internet-based)或以上。

PhD student recruitment
Position: PhD Position (PhD Scholarship Supported) in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)

There is a PhD position available (PhD Scholarship Supported) in Sustainable Energy and Environment Thrust, Function Hub, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Guangzhou, China.
 
HKUST (GZ) implements a pilot program. Each doctoral student will be guided by two or more professors from different fields. The Prime supervisor is Dr. Yuekuan Zhou.
 
Position start date: PhD beginning of Feb 2024 or Sep 2024.
 
The proposed topic is mainly on life-cycle carbon emission of buildings, carbon audit, carbon capture and zero-carbon buildings.
 
PhD student requirements:
(1) With a Master degree or equivalent in the field of building energy system, HVAC technology, thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer.
(2) Strong competence in the building energy simulation software (like TRNSYS, CFD, COMSOL, MATLAB, Python), modelling and optimization.
(3) Outstanding academic and publication records.
(4) Hard working and high sense of responsibility.
(5) English Requirement: Applicants who have not obtained a degree of which the language of instruction was English from a recognised university are required to obtain an overall score of at least 6.5 (with score for the writing component at 5.5 or above) in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or 550 or above (paper-based) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or 80 or above in the internet-based test.
