申请化工phd，要不要再战GRE，跪求大神帮助

今年7月13号考G一次，154+170+3.5。我想申请15fall化工的phd。当时很多人告诉我分数够用，也就没在意。看了看US news Engineering的GRE平均分也没差多少。然后就一直在联系导师，准备材料和做research，直到后来我发现化工的average verbal很高。楼主大三大四转到美帝读书，发现美国人学化工的很多，这让我很是担心。并且我觉得考试那天GREverbal 发挥的不是太好。考后看了一下diagnose，那天我的第一个section才对8道题，其中阅读才对两道。那天第一个section特别难，除了那片长文章之外全是文学类，感觉文章一知半解题目不会。逻辑题很难也没看懂，是一个关于沉船的题。后面两个verbal section感觉特别简单，对了14道。为什么同样是medium难度差别那么大呢？要不要再战呢，很纠结？学校会不会因为我verbal低把我reject，或者弄成Master给AD？本人家庭条件一般，很希望能有funding。本人美本TOEFL waive，GPA3.8+，research3年经验丰富但老师不让发水文，因此没paper。（美帝老师都不管小本）求大神帮助，是否需要再战GRE？

我当初也是，第一个11/20，第二个简单15/20。最后157.

对。感觉第一个文学类阅读各种不会，而且都没做完。第一个section比magoosh都难一些。不知道为什么第二个这么简单，竟然提前3分钟就做完了

我一直想要是两部分反过来就好了。这样的话能上160了

我认识个EE的，322+3.5 一样进哈佛。所以这些都不太好说。。。
