Vancouver Job market - Making you question your own skills
I have been an experienced AML professional for 8 years with a permanent resident status in Canada. I had been employed on contract with HSBC Canada until the takeover. Post that I have been hunting for opportunities and I just dont get call backs. In the span of 2 months I received 1 interview and even that person did not reach out with after the interview. It just feels like we are applying to companies and they don’t even want to look at CV’s until it’s with them for a few weeks. Has it always been this bad that it makes you question your own credibility? I have been frustrated since my move to Canada. #Rant
