a. The Switch
i. There are 2 blocks: top one asks if sum is an odd number, bottom if arrows are the same. If the top block lights up then answer the sum question, if bottom then answer the arrows question.
b. Grill Meat
i. There is meat on the grill click when ready
c. Balloon
i. There is a balloon that you can pump with more air. Every pump pays you 10c but the balloon could pop with every pump. You can take cash whenever you want to instead of pumping the balloon more.
ii. Second round pays 20c but there is a 10c penalty per pump if the balloon explodes.
d. Skyscraper
i. Very similar to the tower of hanoi but the starting configuration has blocks (rings in tower of hanoi) placed in different places.
e. Circle/Square
i. Shows you a circle or square. If you see a square you press the left arrow key if you see a circle press right.
f. Code Compare
i. Shows number or letter sequence at the top then has 4 blocks below. You are supposed to choose the one that perfectly matches the sequence you saw. Usually checking the first 3 letters / numbers is enough.
g. Memory Game
i. Shows sequence of numbers then asks you to type the sequence. Tests memory and the sequence keeps getting longer if you keep answering correctly.
ii. Parf a coin lands on heads you double your bet if it lands on Tails you lose your bet. Consider a strat where you start by betting $1, if you lose you will bet $2, if you lose you will bet $4, etc until you win. Once you win you stop. Your bankroll is $63, what is your expected profit?
i. 0, martingale is 0 ev
h. You roll 4 dice and multiply their values together. What is the probability that this product is an odd number?
i. 1/16 (0.05) because they would all need to be odd (any even number means product is even as it would have a factor of 2)
i. Shuffled deck of 52 cards. How many cards do you need to draw on average before you draw an ace?
i. 10
j. A couple decides to start having children and keep having children until they have more girls than boys (they stop having children if the first child is a girl). How many children do they expect to have?
