1. 我在WPI DS， 刚结束finals。
2. UConn不了解，看课程设计明显不如WPI（如果不考虑能选修其他课）。
3. WPI工科一点都不水，特别是如果选了CS的课的话，不过对于hadoop能自学的大神就不知道了。其他入门级的课也是project为主。这学期我做了12个project。学历是MS。DS的选课很广，CS, Math, Business都能选（操作系统不能选），详情请戳：http://www.wpi.edu/academics/datascience/courses.html
找工作的话WPI应该也不错，上次career fair来了190+个企业。

同申了这两家，最终被Uconn拒了。。收到了WPI的ad。。
个人感觉更喜欢WPI，因为觉得他家的课程设置范围更广更好玩。。

Uconn 的 analytics 的课感觉还可以，有data mining, predictive modeling, hadoop 之类的课，但是另一半project  management 感觉比较水

WPI的课技术性比较强，数学，CS的课都有

但是学费WPI 比Uconn 要贵个两万

最主要的是不知道哪个找工作会比较好啊。。？

听说WPI找工作不错。。而且我觉得Hadoop和R之类的自学也可以，真的需要浪费数千的美刀去上课吗？

其实可以这么考虑，WPI和Uconn的DS系列课可以算作抵消掉，那么WPI剩下的学分可以自己选课，Uconn就相当于选了商学院的项目管理。。这么一想就觉得水的简直不能再水。。尤其对我来说PM的课本科都多少学过了。。

同申这两个项目…被WPI拒被Uconn录…当时感觉Uconn好像稍微水一点…尤其是PM的课…项目也不在校园…感觉技术性强的好找工作啊 楼主倾向于哪个呢？你有没有去uconn系统里accept啊 接完了直接邮寄纸质I20么？ 小蜜催我回信了…

Uconn 的课确实没WPI的技术性强，但是uconn一个学分700多刀，WPI一个学分1300多，同样的学分，学费相差将近一半啊。。。不知道到底值不值呢

WPI的data science给的什么学历？
我怎么看好像不是master of science?
