实验室研究方向: Our lab is highly interdisciplinary, with a focus on neuroimaging and genetics based disease progression modeling and early detection of Alzheimer’s disease. We have long term collaboration with our medical school, Purdue University, UPenn, Duke University and Mayo Clinic.


对口专业背景：neuroimaging, genetics, multi-omics integration/association, bioinformatics, deep learning，computational biology。申请者有部分背景即可。 博士申请有相关交叉学科经验者优先考虑。博后申请有相关交叉学科文章者优先考虑。


实验室博士毕业生去向 (up to 2024): 药企或生物科技公司(like Lilly, Biogen, Roche) research/data scientist, 藤校博后 (Yale, Harvard)


实验室文章发表以期刊为主，例如Briefings in Bioinformatics, Alzheimer's & Dementia, Trends in Genetics, Journal of Alzheimer's Disease. 目前实验室有多项NSF/NIH sponsored projects， 经费充足。实验室博士/博后根据研究方向，每年可参加相关会议(MICCAI, ISBI, ISMB, AAIC, etc)一到两次。


感兴趣的同学可以联系Prof. Jingwen Yan (jingyan@iu.edu). 可通过IU CS或者bioinformatics program进入实验室。IU Indianapolis 是印第安纳大学的医学院校区，地处indianapolis市中心。校区毗邻多家大型生物科技和医药企业比如Lilly总部, Covance, GeneTech，Roche，Johnson&Johnson强生。有很多的实习和就业机会 (实验室校友可帮忙内推)。市郊Carmel常年被评为全美最宜居小镇。
