My name is Weidong Zhu, and I'm an assistant professor at FIU for cybersecurity. I am looking for two fully-funded Ph.D. students to join my research group starting in Spring/Fall 2026. Come work with me on cutting-edge system security research!
About My Research
My lab focuses on the intersection of system security, storage systems, operating systems, and computer architecture. We aim to design and build secure and resilient computer systems for the next generation. Who I'm Looking For
I'm seeking motivated and passionate students to join my team. The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong background in C/C++ programming.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Additionally, the following experiences are highly preferred:

• Research background in storage, computer architecture, or operating systems.
• Hands-on experience in software security, such as reverse engineering, fuzzing, or vulnerability analysis.
• Experiences in any other system security areas.
