I joined the Department of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston) as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Fall 2023, and I am looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students and remote interns to join my research group.
My recent work focuses on multimodal LLMs and AI safety. My research has been published at high-impact venues (e.g., ICLR, KDD, WWW, SIGIR, AAAI, IJCAI, ACL, CIKM, and TKDE). I also regularly serve as PC and SPC at NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, KDD, WWW, AAAI, IJCAI, etc. More information can be found at the website: https://scpei.github.io/
